Description:
Join our growing team and launch your career in building automation. As an Entry-Level BMS Controls Technician, you’ll support the installation, configuration, and commissioning of building management systems (BMS) for HVAC and environmental controls. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates with a technical background who are ready to apply their skills in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation of controllers, sensors, wiring, and control devices
- Support programming and commissioning of building automation systems
- Perform basic troubleshooting and system verification tasks
- Read and interpret mechanical plans, wiring diagrams, and control schematics
- Work alongside lead technicians and project managers to complete projects
- Maintain tools, equipment, and documentation on job sites
Requirements:
- Associate degreein Electrical Technology, HVACR, Mechatronics, Building Automation, or a related technical field
- Strong interest in HVAC, electrical systems, and/or networking
- Basic understanding of control theory, low-voltage wiring, and IT fundamentals is a plus
- Ability to work safely, follow instructions, and manage time on-site
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Good communication skills and eagerness to learn
